WBKO Weather Alert!

Forecasters say an Arctic cold front will move through the region early Monday, bringing the chance of freezing rain, sleet and snow to much of the Bluegrass state.

Across much of western Kentucky, a winter storm watch will be in effect from Monday morning through late Monday night. Forecasters say rain is expected to change over to freezing rain Monday, with a chance of significant ice accumulations, especially along some Ohio River counties.

A winter storm watch is in effect from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning across central Kentucky. Forecasters say a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow will develop Monday afternoon, with the precipitation likely continuing into Monday night.
